As young women who grew up far from Kurdistan, we must protect our cultural values. We are ready to transform the future of our diaspora people. With culture, language, history and the values of communality. We are the ones fighting both patriarchy and capitalism with the spirit of youth. This is the reason for our organizing across Europe. So the most fundamental struggle is to regain one’s true identity. To do this, we must shatter the masks and roles that have been imposed on us.
